Wine Tours with Lunch Included
Day tours that bundle lunch — link /restaurants for meal detail.
Last checked: 6 October 2026
Lunch on a wine farm is half the point of a Winelands day, and booking it yourself can be the hardest part: popular restaurants fill up, and on a tour you're working around someone else's timetable. A wine tour with lunch included takes care of that. This guide sorts the options by the kind of lunch you get (a sit-down restaurant meal, a platter or picnic, or a braai), because that's usually what decides the day.
How we checked this
Every tour here was checked on the operator's official website on 6 October 2026. Prices are copied exactly with their year and basis, and we say whether tastings are included as well as lunch. Undated prices are labelled. For restaurant detail, see /restaurants.

FAQs
Which wine tours include lunch?
Shared tours from Wine Flies (R2,277 per person, 2026) and Wine in the Cape (R2,280 per person, 2026), private tours from My Wine Tour (R2,950 per person, 2026), the Wine Tram's inclusive days (from R1,900 per person, 2026) and several e-bike tours, all with tastings included too.
Are drinks with lunch included?
Sometimes. Wine Tours South Africa includes wine and soft drinks; African Story includes a glass of wine or a soft drink; Wine Tours Cape Town's Master Cheese tour includes a drink. Otherwise assume drinks at lunch are extra.
Can I get a vegetarian or vegan lunch?
Usually, with notice. Wine Tours Cape Town says it arranges vegetarian and dietary lunches if you tell it in advance; ask the others when booking.
Is a wine tour with lunch better value?
It depends on where you'd eat anyway. An inclusive price is easier to budget, but a tour without lunch lets you choose the restaurant. See wine tour costs.
Can my dog come to lunch?
Not on the tour vehicles. Some farm restaurants welcome dogs; see dog-friendly wine farms in the Western Cape.
