Vondeling Wine Tasting Bar

Vrymansfontein is the official home of Vondeling Wines tasting. Sit at the tasting bar or adjacent tables under the trees for Wine Journeys that introduce the range with a complimentary snack board. Cellar-door prices apply in the shop; the venue is cashless; bookings are advisable, especially for groups. Groups of six or more must choose the same tasting.

SCAPE Restaurant

SCAPE is the elevated dining room: Head Chef Anthonie van Zyl, seasonal Mediterranean-inspired shared plates, guided wine pairings, and an extensive list that includes Vondeling plus other premium Cape bottles. Winter 2026 menu PDFs on the site publish dish prices spanning casual plates through high-end cuts (examples historically include wood-fire ribeye and Wagyu T-bone at the top of the board)—treat those figures as menu snapshots, not a fixed tariff.

The Shed: family lawns and wood-fired pizza

The Shed is the alfresco, family-focused eatery beside lawns and a custom kids’ play area: gourmet wood-fired pizzas, burgers, G&Ts and Vondeling by the glass, plus the weekend braai platter. Pets are not allowed (registered service animals welcome).

Hours: Friday–Sunday 12:00–17:00; also Wednesday–Thursday 1 December–11 January. Ideal when only part of the party wants a formal Flagship flight.
