Farms with the most visitor information (opening hours, phone numbers, photos) are listed first.

Franschhoek is the most theatrical of the Cape valleys. Huguenot heritage, a village high street of restaurants, and vineyards that run until the mountains simply stop them. The Wine of Origin name is Franschhoek / Franschhoek Valley, a district in the Coastal Region with no further wards.

The valley is small enough to tour without a motorway. Many farms sit on Huguenot Road or the Franschhoek Wine Tram circuit. Semillon has a local history; Chardonnay and sparkling wine do well in cooler pockets; reds ripen reliably on the warmer benches. Because the destination is as much food as wine, farm pages here emphasise restaurants and visitor hours alongside the cellar.

WineFarmz treats Franschhoek as its own district rather than folding it into Paarl, which matches how people search and how they drive.
