Exclusive-use means you take the whole house, manor or villa — not a room down the passage from other guests. Ideal for multi-generational weekends, small celebrations and privacy-first couples who want a kitchen and pool to themselves. How we checked this

Source: the union of our places-to-stay audits (`stay_audit.csv`, `stay_audit_outer.csv`, `stay_audit_outer_exp.csv`), verified 5 October 2026 against official estate pages where possible. We only list farms with `has_accommodation` yes or limited and at least one `source_urls` entry; we skip `duplicate_of` rows and exclude Bloemendal. How exclusive-use differs from a hotel suite

• One booking covers the property (or a named manor/villa product)
• Pricing is usually per unit / per night for the whole house, sometimes with breakfast or all-inclusive bands
• Min stays are common in high season
• Some estates still offer individual rooms midweek (labelled in notes) — weekend buyouts may be mandatory

• Celebrations: exclusive-use is not automatically a wedding venue hire — ask about event permissions separately (wedding weekend stays).

Is exclusive-use cheaper per person than hotel rooms?

Often yes once you fill the beds — but empty bedrooms waste money. Run the per-person maths with how much a stay costs.

Can two people book a 10-sleeper villa?

Sometimes at a whole-house rate (you still pay for the property). Couples packages are clearer at spa hotels (spa guide).
